Halley Schonekas Carter is a partner with Frilot's Medical Malpractice & Healthcare Practice Area. Ms. Carter worked with the firm as a summer associate and then joined the firm in the Fall of 2012.

Originally from New Orleans, Ms. Carter received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia. She returned to New Orleans to attend Tulane Law School where she was recipient of the Dean's Scholarship and involved in the judicial externship program for two years.

Halley represents clients across the spectrum of the healthcare industry, including hospitals, home health providers, physicians, and other healthcare entities. Having a firm understanding of the complexities of healthcare litigation, she diligently and efficiently navigates legal challenges to secure favorable outcomes.
