Ms. Forouzanfar joined Frilot as Of Counsel in 2024.  Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Forouzanfar obtained her undergraduate degree in Business Management from Louisiana State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.  She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law, from the Paul M. Hebert School of Law in 2012.  While attending law school, Ms. Forouzanfar was an active participant in the Law Center’s Moot Court Program.  She competed nationally on behalf of LSU in the Ruby R. Vale Corporate Law Moot Court Competition as a member of LSU’s Corporate Law Moot Court Team, and subsequently, as its captain.  She also served as a member of the Moot Court Board. In addition, Ms. Forouzanfar served as a Columnist for the LSU Law Publication, The Civilian.

For more than a decade, Ms. Forouzanfar has focused her practice almost exclusively on the defense of healthcare providers.  She has represented physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, dentists, hospitals, outpatient clinics, surgery centers, long-term acute care facilities, nursing homes, and other healthcare providers in a variety of contexts and settings.  As a result, Ms. Forouzanfar has gained extensive experience in several areas, including medical malpractice defense, healthcare law, medical staff peer review and credentialing, health care professional licensing, hospital reimbursement claims, insurance defense, and professional, general, and premises liability.

As a New Orleans native, Ms. Forouzanfar is also active in her local community and a parading member of multiple Mardi Gras krewes.
