Phoebe Hathorn is a partner in the firm’s Admiralty & Maritime, Insurance Coverage, and Mass Tort & Class Actions practice areas. Ms. Hathorn is an experienced practitioner in admiralty litigation in both federal and state courts, including Jones Act and marine personal injury defense, vessel and cargo damage, collisions/allisions, and shipowners’ limitation of liability. Ms. Hathorn also manages an active docket of excess casualty cases, where she acts as defense, coverage, or monitoring counsel.
Ms. Hathorn graduated from Tulane University Law School, where she was a board member and published member of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal. She is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is admitted pro hac vice in various jurisdictions throughout the country.
