Admiralty and Maritime partner R. Patrick Ray handles a wide range of complex maritime litigation, including personal injury claims, cargo claims, and insurance coverage disputes. Mr. Ray represents a variety of clients from international Protection and Indemnity insurers to hull insurers, vessel owners, oil companies, and oil service contractors. Mr. Ray specializes in maritime personal injury cases, including Jones Act and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act cases. He also has worked on litigation stemming from the BP oil spill.
Mr. Ray graduated with honors from the Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans in 2010 after receiving an undergraduate degree in Economics, Political Science, and Business Administration from Louisiana State University. While in law school, Mr. Ray was a member of the Loyola Law Review. He is currently a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.
