Frilot Partner Nairda T. Colón (Lesa) Appointed to NOBA Board of Directors

The firm is proud to announce that partner Nairda T. Colón (Lesa) has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Bar Association (NOBA). Her term will run through 2027.

Founded in 1924, NOBA represents the interests of lawyers and judges in the New Orleans area. The organization is dedicated to promoting justice, educating its members, and advancing the legal profession.

Lesa Colón is a highly regarded attorney with extensive experience in the defense of medical malpractice, healthcare, medical products, professional liability, general liability, and premises liability cases. A partner at Frilot, she joined the firm in 1997 after graduating cum laude from Tulane Law School, following her participation in the firm’s second clerkship class in 1996.

Beyond her legal practice, Lesa is deeply committed to community service. She has worked with organizations such as the Save NOLA Project, Habitat for Humanity, and Make It Right. Notably, she also served on the Team Gleason Executive Legal Committee, contributing to the development of an innovative residence for individuals living with ALS.
