Nairda T. Colón (Lesa) Recognized in New Orleans Magazine's 2025 Top Women in Law

Frilot is pleased to announce that Nairda T. Colón (Lesa) was selected for inclusion in New Orleans Magazine’s 2025 Top Women in Law. She was recognized in the area of Medical Malpractice Law.

The Top Women in Law distinction is based on peer nominations, where attorneys in the New Orleans area are asked to recommend colleagues they trust and respect in various practice areas. The final list is determined by the attorneys who receive the most nominations.

Lesa Colón is a highly esteemed attorney with extensive experience defending medical malpractice, healthcare, medical products, professional liability, general liability, and premises liability cases. A partner at Frilot, she has been with the firm since 1997, after graduating cum laude from Tulane Law School and participating in the firm’s second clerkship class in 1996.

Beyond her legal practice, Lesa Colón is an adjunct professor and an active participant in legal organizations. She is also deeply committed to community service, volunteering with groups such as the Save NOLA Project, Habitat for Humanity, and Make It Right. A notable highlight of her service was her role on the Team Gleason Executive Legal Committee, where she helped develop an innovative residence for individuals living with ALS.
