Bar Association Honors Norman C. Sullivan

Norman C. Sullivan, Jr. was honored as a “50-Year Member” during the 99th Annual Dinner Meeting of the New Orleans Bar Association held on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the Ritz-Carlton in New Orleans. NOBA celebrated its 50-Year Members for their half-century of unwavering commitment to the betterment of society and their substantial contributions to the legal field across a multitude of disciplines.

With five decades of extensive litigation experience, Norm Sullivan has focused on maritime litigation, with particular emphasis on products liability, contract and insurance law, as well as construction disputes.  His expertise in these areas led to his designation as 2020 Best Lawyers "Lawyer of the Year" for Admiralty and Maritime Law, a title given to a single lawyer in each practice area and region. Mr. Sullivan was also the recipient of the Distinguished Maritime Lawyer Award from NOBA in 2012 and has served as a former Chairman of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute.
